Kim Noble is a 56 year old artist. She has 14 different personalities brought upon her dissociative identity disorder. Kim Noble was diagnosed with DID in 1995 and the cause of her illness has been derived from child abuse. Her work is powerful because it shows the 14 sides of her and how they all think differently. Her 14 versions of herself are known as alters and they do not have any memory of each other. 

Her work is interesting to look at because it can be thought in different ways. Her work is also very personal since it shows her own struggles with her illness. Kim Noble discusses the beginning of her illness and how she struggled to remember things and the paintings she made. She has now come to terms with her illness and continues to make inspiring works.
