At the bottom of the anxiety swamp
Jayoon Choi is an artist whose work reflects mental states and health. In this piece she states:

There is a moment when you can’t help but sink deep down. Attacked by spiteful thoughts. But, oh dear! I was the monster.
Her work is simple but powerful. She has imagery which depicts different situations in abstract ways. Jayoon Choi's work is a great example how art can be used to reflect issues such as mental illnesses. She uses her talent to capture her audience and make them realize what her art means.

Jayoon Choi tagged this work with the words anxiety and depression. Here the images on the left side can represent these illnesses targeting the individual.

This can be seen in many ways. Jayoon Choi called this work waking up from nightmares but it can also mean something being taken away from the individual.
